As long as I can remember I've always
wanted to live in a log home. I even built a small cabin in my early
teens. As I got older I tried to find an old log barn or cabin to
dis-assemble and move to my property. Not having much luck with that
I began to search for a log home manufacturer to duplicate the old
time techniques. I read magazines, went to log home shows and
visited several plants. I knew I wanted a hand-crafted home versus a
milled home. After a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains of East
Tennessee, my wife, (Kelly) and I found the perfect team for our
project. The ability to offer a truly handcrafted home along with
old fashion values made this decision easy! Danny Cooper and Tim
Munsey made it all happen. I went to the plant and watched the guys
cut the dovetails, cut mortise and tenon joints and hewn the logs
and timbers one swing of the adze at a time. An awesome experience!
I can't put into words the excitement of seeing your home being
off-loaded and the construction process begin. I spent one summer cutting
and peeling Poplar tree bark for the car-port gables and accent
walls inside. We cut Cedar trees for the closets. I even built my
own signature log wall inside. I cut the dovetails, hewn the logs
and erected the wall. With the diligent and unselfish help of my
family, we finished our home while making special memories that will
always be treasured! In today's world, quality has been replaced
with a limited life-time warranty and an on-going customer
relationship replaced with how fast can I get the job done and get
the money. I invite you back to the days of yesterday.
Hand-craftsmanship, service, integrity, and someone who loves what
they do! Working with the same team that made our dream home happen,
I invite you to put your trust in me and allow us the opportunity to
make your dream home happen from hand-shake to easy-chair! You'll be
glad you did!
